Wisconsin +6.5 Point Spread

Under 132.5 Game Totals

Against The Spread Pick

A pivotal Big Ten match-up will see two teams looking to further improve their resume and their conference record to give them a better shot at making a deep Big Ten conference run. The Wisconsin Badgers most recently beat Rutgers to extend their winning streak to four games. While they have a 10-6 conference record, they are still only projected to be an 8 seed in the Big Dance by ESPN’s Joe Lunardi. Michigan have also caught fire, winning five games in a row. They are projected to be a 5 seed. Most notably, the underdog has had much success in this series. Not necessarily straight up, but against the spread. Over the last 20 meetings, the underdog is 15-5 ATS. That being said, these two teams are pretty evenly matched, so I would have to lean to the Badgers to get the cover.

Over Under Pick

Usually when Wisconsin is involved in a game, the under is where you need to look. This team is definitely not a high scoring team, averaging just 66.9 points per game. On the defensive side, they allow 62.2 points. Michigan could be a problem however, as they average about 75 points per game overall and 79 points in their home games. Over the last five games, each side is scoring between 70-75 points on average, but are allowing 65 points or lower. The under is 10-3 this season is Wisconsin road games this year and that is where I lean in this game as well.
