Puck Line Pick
Winnipeg continues their Eastern road trip with a stop at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. The Jets have lost their last two games, but only four of their last 10 overall. Washington was able to end their four-game slide in a big way by taking down division rival Pittsburgh 5-3 in a tough match-up. Winnipeg has lost six of its last eight road games. Taking in their 0-7 record in their last seven visits to Capital One Arena into account, the Jets have had some real problems. Their last meeting their Washington was able to win by two goals, making the puck line hold true. It makes taking the Capitals on the puck line again an easy play.
Over Under Pick
Washington continues to be one of the most explosive offenses in the NHL, but recently they haven’t quite had the same luck. With five-goal totals or less in four of their last six games. In Winnipeg’s last three games they have combined for six-goal totals or less. Adding in that the Jets and Capitals haven’t combined for more than five goals in their last three head-to-head meetings, taking an under 6.5 total is the right choice.
