Puck Line Pick
The Washington Capitals are having some really big problems as of late, and if they keep it up they could find themselves all the way down to the third spot in the Metro. New Jersey will be looking to add to the spoiling as the Capitals visit Prudential Center. Washington is just 3-7 in their last 10 games, and they look to be getting worse. The Devils have won three of their last five games. The Caps have to be happy that they return to division play, with their pit stop in New Jersey. Washington won two of the first three meetings this season. The Capitals last visit to Prudential Center was quite successful as they won by three goals. Even with their struggles, taking Washington on the puck line is still the right choice here.
Over Under Pick
The goals have been lighting up in recent clashes between the Capitals and Devils. In their first three clashes this season, each resulted in six-goal totals or more. Washington was able to score six goals alone, during their last visit to Prudential Center. New Jersey pitched in with three goals of their own that night. The winning team this season in those head-to-heads at the least has scored five goals alone. The chances of six goals being scored is likely, but more than 6.5 isn’t the right play. Take the under.
