Puck Line Pick
The Wild have only lost a single regulation game to Las Vegas since the Golden Knights became a franchise. Could loss number-two come on Tuesday? Probably not. Sure, the Wild aren’t playing the best brand of hockey at the moment (6-4-0 over their last 10), but the team is great at home, going 16-8-4. If there’s any reason for pessimism, it’s their 13-15 record against the spread at home, although Vegas’ 14-15 record against the spread on the road should make you feel a bit better.
Over Under Pick
Speaking of Vegas, the team is 3-1-1 over their last five… but that’s obviously a small sample size. If you look back to the start of the new year, then the Golden Knights are an average 6-6-2. While Las Vegas is a solid 14-11-4 on the road this season, their aforementioned record against the spread isn’t all that sexy. Plus, while the Knights had a one-goal win over the Wild earlier this season, Minnesota has otherwise had their number.
