Money Line Pick
It’s all about staying in contention for both the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers. Vegas has put itself in the third spot in the Pacific division, but losses in seven of their last 10 games, don’t give them much room for error. As for the Panthers, they suffered a second shutout loss in their last three games in their last game against Columbus. Vegas has struggled in recent games against teams from the Eastern Conference, with losses in six of their last eight games. Florida has made easy work of foes from the pacific division, with a 4-1 record in their last five against teams from the west. Head-to-head the Knights and Panthers have split their last four meetings. The last of which was highly competitive as the Golden Knights escaped with a 6-5 win. Florida has been so tough to beat at the BB&T Center, that taking Vegas on the road is out of the question. Take Florida here.
Over Under Pick
Florida has been held scoreless in two of its last three games, but that hasn’t stopped them from being a threat to find the net at least three times per game. For the Golden Knights, at least two goals in nine of their last 10 games have been the norm. The last time these teams met, Vegas was able to escape at home with a 6-5 victory. With both teams liking the over more often than not, a play on the over 6.5-goal total is a must.
