Saint Louis +1 Point Spread

Over 133.5 Game Totals

Against The Spread Pick

Probably the best game on the Friday card will see the VCU Rams take on the Saint Louis Billikens. This is a huge Atlantic-10 game in terms of seeding for the upcoming conference tournament. No one wants to play Dayton in March, so neither side will want to fall any further in the A-10 standings. Speaking of Dayton, that is who the Rams lost to last time out. The Billikens are also looking to bounce back since they were upset by UMass this past weekend. Unless these teams can start to win games down the stretch, they are both looking at being left out from the tournament field. VCU beat Saint Louis 71-65 in the first meeting, however, they failed to cover the spread. The Rams are just 3-7 ATS on the road this season, so I expect them to have even more issues in the second meeting. Time and time again, VCU has looked like a different team on the road, and with that being said, I lean Saint Louis to cover as a home dog.

Over Under Pick

This is a total I really do not like because we do not know which VCU team is going to show up. We know how good the Rams can be at home, yet on the road they score 69.9 points an allow 71.4. Likewise for the Billikens, as they just scored 63 against the Minutemen, while the game before that they scored 84. The over is 10-4 in 14 home games for Saint Louis this year and 6-4 in 10 road/neutral games for the Rams. With the VCU defense showing vulnerabilities on the road, I lean to the over to cash in this game.
