Against the Spread Pick
To start the season, things couldn’t have gone much differently for these two Mountain West Conference foes. While Utah State’s 5-4 conference record leaves a bit to be desired, they’re still an incredible 16-6 overall. Sure, the team has hit a bit of a recent rough stretch (6-5 over their last 11), and their road record isn’t very dazzling (1-4), but this team should have enough to pull off a victory on Tuesday night.
Over Under Pick
That’s because their opponent hasn’t inspired a lot of confidence this season. Wyoming enters with a 5-16 overall record behind an impressive (for the wrong reasons) 0-9 conference record, with the team’s last win coming December 28th against Nebraska Wesleyan. Of course, the Cowboys’ 4-9 home record does look a bit better, and they’re 4-8 against the spread at home. In other words, don’t automatically count Wyoming out.
