Against the Spread Pick
The Oregon Ducks are tied atop the Pac-12 standings with Colorado, but their 8-4 record is far from dominant and they certainly have not been in ruthless form of late. Oregon has dropped two of its past three contests and it has not won by more than eight points since Jan. 26. In other words, covering 12.5 points against the Utah Utes could be a big ask. Utah has won two of its past three outings and it lost to the Ducks by just five points on the previous meeting between the two teams this season. Branden Carlson (6.7 ppg) has scored at least 13 points in two of the last three games. It is worth noting that the road team is 4-0-1 ATS in the last five head-to-head matchups. The UTES are probably getting enough points.
Over Under Pick
In each of Utah’s five most recent contests, the losing team has failed to reach the 60-point mark. Only one guy (Timmy Allen) is averaging more than 10.5 ppg. For Oregon, leading scorer Payton Pritchard has cooled off in a big way. His shooting percentages in the past three games are 23.8, 33.3, and 38.5. Look for this one to stay UNDER the total.
