Against the Spread Pick
USC is an interesting case. They definitely have talent and might have the best 1-2 punch of bigs anywhere, in terms of production. The top of the PAC 12 is really tight with the top six teams all having four of five losses. The Trojans have struggled on the road this season and this is their last best chance to get a quality win outside of SoCal. Onyeka Okongwu is having a great frosh season but he is dealing with a concussion. His status is critical. The Buffs have taken advantage of Oregon snoozing and are a half-game up in the standings even though they lost to the Ducks last week. They should feel pretty good given they had no trouble handling the Trojans in L.A. earlier in the season, winning by 21. They will be favoured in all of their remaining games too so there is a chance to get on a roll. McKinley Wright is able to control the game at the PG position even though he has not taken a big leap this season. The number is big though so take the visitors.
Over Under Pick
Colorado is a stingy defensive team, giving up just 62ppg. In their last game, they gave up just 47 points to an Oregon State that is decent and probably has a first-team in conference player in Tres Tinkle. Playing at altitude helps but so does the fact that this team has speed, athleticism, and size. The first game of the season went under by a half-point. Something similar seems likely here
