Against the Spread Pick
While Toledo and Eastern Michigan have similar overall records heading into Saturday’s matchup, it’s pretty clear that one team has the upper hand in this contest. The Rockets are only 11-10 this season, but they have a solid 3-5 record in conference play. That’s been boosted by a 3-3 record over their last six, although they did drop a pair of games over the past week. Most notably, Toledo has been solid on the road, going 5-6 away from their campus.
Over Under Pick
Meanwhile, Eastern Michigan has a similar 10-10 overall record, and they’re a solid 6-3 at home. Unfortunately, things don’t look nearly as good when you start digging into the nitty-gritty. The Eagles are now 0-7 in conference play, and they’re currently riding a stretch where they’ve gone 1-9. Eastern Michigan has keep it relatively close in some of those games (they haven’t lost by more than five since January 14th), but there’s no way the home team is winning this game.
