Against The Spread Pick
The Toledo Rockets face another road test, as they visit McGuirk Arena for a clash with the Central Michigan Chippewas. The Rockets have won two of their last three games but has had a real problem covering the spread this season. For Central Michigan, they have lost each of their last five games in a row. Luckily for the Chippewas, they won 12 of their last 15 games at home. The Rockets came up short in the first meeting this season, as CMU was able to get a seven-point win and also covered the spread. With the Chips having success at home, taking them to cover two points is the right move.
Over Under Pick
Neither the Rockets or the Chippewas have the records to match their level of offensive success this season. Toledo is averaging nearly 75 points per game, while Central Michigan comes in with an even higher average. CMU is currently 14th in the nation with a scoring average of 80 points per game. The teams failed to reach an over 151-point total in their first meeting this season. Which seems like the likely outcome here as well. Taking the under is just too good to pass on.
