I have gone for something here: a game result + BTTS doublecheck!
Predictably, I have whacked Rangers into this one, who have been a reliable BTTS choice since Steven Gerrard took over.
Rangers secured two magnificent BTTS victories against Midtjylland to accomplish this stage, and believing they have developed a pleasant reputation of a side who dent and concede a lot, their fixture at Legia Warsaw looks to be a good choice within this marketplace.
Legia seem a bad side–especially after viewing their home game against Atromitos from the preceding round ending goalless–so while I see Gerrard’s men turning the Polish outfit over on Thursday, the chances of a house goal being scored (bearing in mind we have seen 23 targets over the course of their last five games ) are fairly high.
Both groups to score and rangers to win looks a solid bet .
My next choice would be for Gent to conquer Rijeka with the two teams scoring.
Rijeka conquer Aberdeen 2-0 twice within the span of their past qualifying tie, but the Belgian ensemble will prove a much sterner test — I do not Rijeka passing inside this leg.
Gent finished 5th at the Belgian top division last year, but of the 10 home games they won, eight were later both groups scored.
The hosts have pedigree in this contest and ought to beat Rijeka in this first leg, but recent history indicates both teams will find the net along the way.
