Against the Spread Pick
The Texas Tech Red Raiders celebrated a return trip to the top 25 (currently 24th) by blasting TCU 88-42 on Monday. It was the Red Raiders’ third win in a row, following victories over Oklahoma and Texas. This may not be the national runner-up team that was on display in 2018-19 because there were plenty of departures thereafter, but Texas Tech appears to be getting into at least some kind of 2019-20 groove in time for March. Since Jan. 21, the Red Raiders have lost only to Kentucky (76-74 in overtime) and at Kansas (78-75). The Oklahoma State Cowboys are six spots and five games behind Texas Tech in the Big 12 standings. Oklahoma State is 0-5 against top 25 opponents this season, including an 85-50 loss to none other than the Red Raiders on Jan. 4. TEXAS TECH should have no trouble covering the spread.
Over Under Pick
Oklahoma State reached only the half-century mark in the previous meeting between these two teams. The Cowboys committed 14 turnovers in that contest while shooting a laughable 28.8 percent from the floor. Nobody on the team is averaging more than 11.6 ppg (Lindy Waters III). For Texas Tech, guard Terrence Shannon Jr. (11.0 ppg) is out due to a concussion. Lean toward the UNDER.
