Against the Spread Pick
In a bubble, which team would you opt for: the team that’s 13-8 overall and 4-4 in the conference or the team that’s 10-11 overall and 0-8 in the conference? You’d naturally lean towards the former, right? Not so fast, at least when it comes to Wednesday’s matchup between TCU and Oklahoma State. Sure, TCU owns the superior record, but that’s a bit misleading. The Horned Frogs are now 1-5 over their last six, with two of those losses coming against ranked opponents (of course, their one victory was over #18 Texas Tech). Further, TCU is only 1-4 on the road and 1-4 against the spread on the road.
Over Under Pick
Oklahoma State hasn’t been playing a whole lot better lately, as they’re currently riding a 1-8 stretch. However, half of those losses have come against ranked opponents, and three of those non-ranked losses have been on the road. Overall, the Cowboys are 5-6 at home this season, although they’re only 2-9 against the spread when playing on their campus.
