Against the Spread Pick
The Baylor continue to roll through their schedule, not having lost a game since November. As it stands, they are the clear number one team in the country, yet they are under the radar because they are not as flashy as other teams. They are more focused on playing a complete game and doing whatever it takes to get out with a win. On the other side, TCU is hurting for wins. They are just 4-3 in the Big 12 and would not be considered for a bid to the Big Dance if the selection show were to be this weekend. Beating number one Baylor just might move them onto the “Bubble”, but even then, their record does not reflect a worthy team. That being said, Baylor is just too strong at home this year. They are winning conference home games by an average of 10.6 points, and I think they will find a way to completely blow this team out. That said, it would still only be a lean to the Bears to cover this number.
Over Under Pick
The total in this game is 125 and the over is where I will be looking. For starters, the Bears are averaging 71.3 points per game at home. Even though they are allowing only 54.8 points, if TCU can just score close to 60, this total is going to fly over. The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings as well and all of those totals were 139.5 or higher. Yes, those were slightly different teams, but I have no reason to believe they cannot both score in the mid-60’s. Back the over to cash in this game.
