Money Line Pick
The Lightning are one of the hottest squads in the NHL at the moment, winning six straight games. They’re also an incredible 18-2-1 since December 23rd, although each of those straight-up losses came on the road. Otherwise, Tampa Bay is an elite 17-8-3 on the road this season (vs. an 11-7 record against the spread on the road). Last (but certainly not lease), this will be the first time the Lightning are facing the Blue Jackets since the eight-seeded Columbus squad shockingly swept the top-seed Lightning in last year’s playoffs.
Over Under Pick
Meanwhile, the Blue Jackets are riding an impressive stretch of their own, going 12-2-1 since the start of the new year. While they dropped a home contest against Colorado on Saturday, they otherwise hadn’t lost in Columbus since January 4th, and they’re a solid 18-10-2 at home. However, similar to their opponent, the team is only 14-16 against the spread at home this season.
