Against the Spread Pick
This has not been a banner season for Syracuse but they have the opportunity to get some profile building wins down the stretch. They are 4-3 on the road and just pushed Florida State hard over the weekend. This is a game that could really turn some heads and they could probably win the rest from here on out. Elijah Hughes is a really nice wing player averaging almost 19ppg. He is getting NBA interest and if he is the best player on the floor they have a shot. Louisville only has five losses, but a week ago they only had three. They are looking to halt a two-game losing streak and keep up with Duke, who also has 12 ACC wins. Jordan Nwora has only scored seven points over the last two losses. He is their leading scorer by far and the only player averaging double-figures. He has been up and down all season. He will be better and Syracuse keeps this one close enough to cover.
Over Under Pick
Both of these teams have played more overs this season. Syracuse is usually a tough team to solve on defense with that zone but they are going over two-thirds of the time. They have not been executing it as well as usual. Louisville does not have a lot of scorers but we’ll get helped at the free-throw line later here. Take the over.
