Money Line Pick
It has been less than spectacular for both the Sharks and Devils this season, but both have a shot to add another win as San Jose makes a visit to the Prudential Center. New Jersey might not be in the best of situations as they find themselves 10-10-10 at home this season. San Jose is 4-2 overall in its last six games, and 5-1 in its last six games against New Jersey. The Devils are 1-6 in their last seven home games against the Sharks. Add it all up and it doesn’t favor a team that has had so much trouble on their own ice. Therefore taking the Sharks money line is the only choice here.
Over Under Pick
This match-up not only features two struggling teams overall, but it also features a pair of teams that have tremendous struggles offensively. Both average less than three goals per game. That doesn’t bode well for the chances of an over total. However, two of the last three head-to-head meetings have resulted in seven-goal totals. Still, neither of those games took place at Prudential Center. Therefore leaning the under 5.5 goal total is the right choice.
