Against the Spread Pick
The San Francisco Dons will get another shot at the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Thursday. That may not seem like a good thing for the Dons because it almost certainly means another loss, but they fell by just four points when they hosted Gonzaga earlier this month. San Francisco followed that up with setbacks against Pacific and BYU, but it is now coming off a 70-61 road victory over Santa Clara. Four different guys are averaging in double-figures, led by Charles Minlend at 14.3 points per game. San Francisco has not lost by more than 14 points this entire season. The Zags are shooting just 68.3 percent from the free-throw line as a team, which can result in a failure to extend their leads late in games. Go with the DONS.
Over Under Pick
If the Dons are going to keep this somewhat competitive, which they should be able to do, they cannot let the score get too out of control. Although San Francisco is more than capable of putting up points, it has scored 70 or less in three of its last five games. Gonzaga forward Killian Tillie is questionable for Thursday due to his recurring ankle problems. Take the UNDER.
