Against the Spread Pick
The Dayton Flyers will be putting their undefeated Atlantic 10 record and top-10 national ranking on the line when they entertain the Saint Louis Billikens on Saturday. When you’re not in a Power 5 conference, it takes more than just wins (20 overall, nine in the conference) to be ranked No. 6 in the land. It also takes style points. And that is exactly what the Flyers have been getting. They have won every home game except one this season by at least 13 points, and the only exception to that rule came back on Nov. 9. Obi Toppin leads four players in double-figures at 19.7 points per game. Saint Louis had won three in a row before getting blasted by 14 points at home by Duquesne on Wednesday. DAYTON should be able to take care of business by a lofty margin.
Over Under Pick
Joining Toppin in the double-figure department for Dayton are Jalen Crutcher, Ibi Watson, and Trey Landers. A red-hot Crutcher has poured in at least 18 points in five of the past six outings. In turn, the Flyers have scored at least 76 points in all but three games during the 2019-20 campaign and they are sixth in the nation in scoring at 82.1 ppg. Saint Louis surrendered 82 points to a Duquesne squad that far less potent than Dayton. Lean toward the OVER.
