Against the Spread Pick
The Pittsburgh Panthers have lost four of their last six games, but things could be worse. After all, their six ACC wins are three more than what they compiled in 2018-19 and six more than their 2017-18 haul (yes, that was zero). Although the road has not been overly kind to the Panthers, they at least managed to prevail at North Carolina last month. Justin Champagnie is averaging 20.3 points per game over the past three contests. Especially good news for the visitors is that the Virginia Tech Hokies are in the midst of a five-game losing streak. They have not won at home in regulation in more than a month (Jan. 11). The underdog is 3-0-1 ATS in the last four meetings between the two teams. PITTSBURGH should be able to cover the spread.
Over Under Pick
Landers Nolley II is pouring in 17.7 ppg for the Hokies. If their is one thing Nolley and company can do, it’s play efficient offense. Virginia is turning the ball over just 9.8 times per game and it is shooting 35.7 percent from the three-point line. Champagnie is on fire for the Panthers and should be able to help them keep pace, if not even win outright. Take the OVER.
