Money Line Pick

It is all on the line, as the Penguins and Capitals go to battle at Capital One Arena, and it will be must-see Hockey on Sunday. Pittsburgh has gone kind of flat since tying the Capitals atop the Metropolitan Divison, and that was shown by a very ugly home performance against Buffalo. Washington hasn’t been playing very well at all either, and they lost a fourth-straight game against the Devils. Something has to give, as both teams do not like each other. Both teams have five wins in the last 10 head-to-head meetings. Pittsburgh has won four of the last five in fact. These teams last met a couple of days ago, and that game was also at Capital One Arena. The Penguins escaped with a one-goal win on that night. It’s both team’s biggest game of the season, but with the Penguins toughness this year, taking them on the money line is the right call.

Over Under Pick

Whenever the Penguins and Capitals take to the ice against each other the goal lights are bound to light up and quickly. Pittsburgh has scored four goals or more in three of their last five games. Not to mention two of the last three have resulted in seven-goal totals. Washington sure hasn’t had the same energy around them and three of their last four games they have scored two goals or less. The last two meetings have resulted in seven-goal totals or more. So taking over 6.5 is a must.
