Week 3 of the NFL Preseason kicks off on Thursday night with six games on the card. For exactly what people refer to rehearsal, the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots are in activity at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. I really don’t understand about that in this example. Tom Brady could or may not play in this match. It is not much of a dress rehearsal without Brady taking a snap.
Brady has stated he wants to find any snaps in the preseason, but Bill Belichick, in typical Belichick style, hasn’t disclosed. The Patriots have appeared good despite playing in the preseason. Depth doesn’t seem as a problem for the Patriots for their defense that’s currently going to be useful in the regular season.
The Patriots enter at the preseason using 22-17 across the Titans and wins over the Lions of 31-3. They seemed sharp and crisp . The Lions didn’t come close to scoring a touchdown in the competition, since the Patriots came close to throwing a shutout. Be aware that Brady hasn’t played a down, so that they did just fine with the backups playing.
Brian Hoyer has plenty of expertise from the NFL, so it is not going to be anything new for him, if he gets the start here. Cam Newton has not played in the preseason too. He’s coming from a shoulder injury which seriously limited his capacity to zip round the ball .
Newton will find a chance to shake off the rust off . He played through the injury if he should not have. The Panthers were not a playoff contender, so pushing Cam wasn’t a move that is fantastic. Ron Rivera has stated that Newton will play in four or three series from the Pats.
We will not know until just prior to the game with Belichick is going to perform with Brady, however they’re in company with two quality copies. Head below to our free Panthers vs. Patriots pick for Week 3 of the NFL Preseason.

This is a chance for Cam convince himself using an NFL area and to shake off the rust. Nothing will be too exotic to your crime in this area. The Panthers opened the preseason with a win against the Bears on the road, 23-13, and also a loss at home against the courthouse. It has become clear that the Panthers are likely to have no achievement.
The quarterback drama behind Newton is not encouraging. The Panthers drafted Will Grier, a gunslinger from West Virginia. He set up monster numbers in school, but this was as a shotgun passer from the Big 12. Not each quarterback create like Pat Mahomes or even Baker Mayfield and instantly can visit the NFL. In fact, there are a lot more Big 12 QB busts.
The transition is tough to get quarterbacks playing that kind of spread offense. With his ability to scramble and locate a open receiver , he gets for Mahomes. Grier does not have the same capability to run about and make something from nothing. The Chiefs were clever as well by implementing elements of Mahomes’ offense at Texas Tech.
This offense in Carolina is built approximately Cam Newton. Grier will get to demonstrate a whole lot more before he has offensive coordinators structuring a playbook. Grier is coming off a shoddy performance, as he handed for 75 yards with an interception on 10-of-19 passing. I don’t have much faith in Kyle Allen and Tyler Heinicke against this profound New England shield too.
Who I really do have faith in his Patriots’ rookie Jarrett Stidham. I liked Stidham when he had been in college when he had been one of the few quarterbacks to find out the Alabama defense and I still like his prognosis. Everyone seemed to forget about him when it was completed, although stidham was discussed frequently during the college football season. The Patriots scooped him up in the fourth-round and so far so good in New England.
Stidham passed for 179 yards and a touchdown against the Lions and followed it up with another marquee operation against the Titans. Stidham torched that the Titans for 193 yards and a touchdown at a 22-17 win. Spreads dismissed and are covered by 4th quarter play in the preseason. At house on Thursday nightI have more confidence in the Patriots’ copies to outperform that the Panthers in this one.
