Puck Line Pick
A pair of teams that struggled during the first half of the season will look to right the ship on Tuesday evening. The Sabres’ 22-20-7 record leaves a lot to be desired, but Buffalo has a few things going for them against the Senators. For starters, Buffalo is 3-1 over their last four, and that streak extends to 5-3 over their last eight. The Sabres have also cruised to a respectable 14-6-3 home record, and they’re an impressive 9-4-1 as favorites this year. Clearly, there are a handful of numbers that are pointing in their direction.
Over Under Pick
Unfortunately, we can’t do a whole lot to talk up the Senators and their 17-23-8 record. Ottawa won their final game before the All-Star break, but they had gone winless in their previous nine games. The Senators are also an abysmal 5-15-4 on the road, they’re 14-28-5 as underdogs this season, AND they play the Devils on Monday night. Clearly, things aren’t looking up for the Senators.
