Against The Spread Pick
Payton Prichard and company’s first test of the postseason comes against rival Oregon State. The Ducks come into this one on a 4 game winning streak. They are deadly on both sides of the ball, but where they really shine is offense. They are averaging 76 points per game and shoot the ball extremely well. From the field the are 47 percent and from behind the arc they are 39.5 percent. The Beavers feature an average defense with an offense that shoots the ball well. They are a solid 45.7 percent from the field. Oregon is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games and 12-0 ATS in their last 12 games played in March. I think the Ducks come away with a convincing victory in this one.
Over Under Pick
Both of these teams feature offenses that can shoot the ball well. The last time they met the score was only 69-54 with Oregon winning. This matchup for whatever reason always seems to be low scoring. In the past ten meetings between these two the under has cashed 7 times. I think we will see a change of pace here however. With Oregon’s ability to shoot the deep ball they are always a threat for the over. They have scored 70 or more points in their last 6 games. The total has gone over in 5 of Oregon’s last 6 games and in 4 of Oregon State’s last 6 games. I like the over in this one.
