The two-year-old rediscovered the winning course in a thrilling Group Three in Sandown becoming the better of Andrew Balding’s Kameko by a nose.
Cox is in no rush to commit to the next goal of Positive, but Darley Dewhurst Stakes and also the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes are equally under consideration.
“We were very delighted with the win at Sandown, and he’s come from the race ” stated the Lambourn-based trainer.
“He has an entry to the Dewhurst and the Royal Lodge, so we’ll basically keep moving ahead and keep an open mind.
“He is progressing well, and we are pleased that he appears to get a lot of scope to increase .”
