Against the Spread Pick
It will be the best team in the Big 12 against the worst team in the Big 12 when the Baylor Bears host the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday. Baylor (20-1, 9-0 in conference) has won 19 in a row, surging to the No. 1 ranking in the entire nation. Macio Teague (14.1 ppg) has exceeded his scoring average in five consecutive contests. Oklahoma State (11-11, 1-8 in conference) actually beat TCU on Wednesday, but it has not won a Big 12 contest on the road this season. Nobody on this team is averaging more than 11.6 ppg. OSU is turning the ball over 12.6 times per outing and is shooting just 30.1 percent from three-point range for the 2019-20 campaign. The Cowboys are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 overall, 1-4 ATS in their last five on the road. Baylor is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 overall and 7-0 ATS in its last seven on Saturdays. This should be a rout in the BEARS’ favor.
Over Under Pick
Oklahoma State is mediocre at best on offense, which is especially bad news going up against a long and athletic Baylor side. The Bears have gone 15 straight games without allowing an opponent to reach the 70-point mark and 11 of those 15 foes failed to even reach 60. The under is 6-2 in the Cowboys’ last eight against opponents with winning records. It is also 7-3 in the Bears’ last 10 overall and 4-0 in their last four at home. This one will likely stay UNDER the total.
