Oklahoma State

Oklahoma +1 Point Spread

Under 137 Game Totals

Against The Spread Pick

An in-state rivalry will see the Oklahoma Sooners take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday afternoon. Both teams are hurting for wins right now after both losing this past week. The Sooners are in a better position at the moment, sitting at 6-7 in the Big 12. They are still projected to be a 10 seed by ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, but need to win games like this if they are going to stay in the field. The Cowboys on the other hand, have almost no chance to make this years’ tournament. They are 3-10 in the Big 12 and pretty much have to win the Big 12 tournament. The Cowboys are coming off a game at West Virginia where they had the lead at halftime, yet in the second half they got destroyed and lost by 18. The Sooners have dominated this series from a betting perspective, going 16-5 ATS in the last 21 meetings. Furthermore the Cowboys are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games, which is why I am going to fade them here and take the Sooners as a lean.

Over Under Pick

Not a total I want to bet because both teams have shown they are wildly inconsistent. The Sooners scored 54 last time out against Baylor, but 70 the game before against Kansas. Their defense is just as inconsistent, allowing 65 points to Baylor recently and 87 to Kansas last weekend. The Cowboys are the same way as they could score less than 60 at any point, but could also score 70+ if they get rolling. The under is 11-4 in Oklahoma’s last 15 games against the Big 12. The under is also 4-1 in the last 5 head to head meetings. Again, this is a lean at best, but I look for the under to cash.
