Against the Spread Pick

After missing the Oklahoma City Thunder’s first game following the death of Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul is expected to play against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. Paul, who finally surfaced on social media on Tuesday with a tribute post to Kobe, is listed as probable. Nonetheless, the odds were still off as of late Tuesday night. Paul and company should be plenty motivated, in part because they can all but lock up an improbable playoff spot with a decent run in the immediate future. Sacramento, on the other hand, is 17-29 and has not won a home game since Jan. 6–against Golden State, the worst team in the NBA. Oklahoma City is 20-8 ATS in its last 28 overall, 20-7 ATS in its last 27 on the road, and 16-5 ATS in its last 21 against opponents with losing records. The Kings are 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight overall, 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13 at home, and 0-4-1 ATS in its last five against opponents with winning records. The THUNDER should be the play.
