Puck Line Pick
Could the Jets be turning around their season? Winnipeg has looked like a completely different team over the past week-plus, going 4-0-1 since the start of February. However, it’s hard to ignore the fact that the active stretch was preceded by a five-game winless streak, and the squad is an underwhelming 14-12-3 when playing in Winnipeg (fortunately, their 14-15 record against the spread is a bit more palatable). Plus, the Jets lost both of their contests to the Rangers earlier this season, but it’s worth noting that both of those games were played way back in November…plenty has changed since that time.
Over Under Pick
Meanwhile, the Rangers don’t look nearly as bad right now as they did throughout December, but they’re still not inspiring a whole lot of confidence. The team is 8-5-0 since January 7th, but that stretch only includes a pair of road wins. Therefore, it shouldn’t be too shocking that New York is a pedestrian 11-11-2 as the away team, although their road against the spread record (15-9) is a lot more alluring.
