Money Line Pick
The Rangers head west for a clash on the ice at United Center, as the Chicago Blackhawks play host. New York’s four-game winning streak was snapped by a three-goal loss against the Boston Bruins. Chicago had built up some strong momentum, but it looks all but lost as they are just 3-7 in their last 10 games. The Blackhawks have won four of the last five head-to-head meetings. The good news for the Rangers is their five-straight wins on the road. New York has better long term chances, but taking Chicago on the money line at home is the right play.
Over Under Pick
Chicago’s goal totals have been up and down for much of the season, but especially as of late where they have not only put up some large numbers, but they have also had struggles at scoring. The Rangers were able to win 4-3 the last time these teams met, which was last season. Five of New York’s last six games have resulted in under totals. New York is averaging 3.26 goals per game, while the Blackhawks are averaging less than three goals per game. Taking an under 6.5 goal total is the right move.
