Against the Spread Pick

It took longer than we would have liked but it easy to see why there was so much hype for Zion Williamson. He has played just seven games, averaging 19ppg and 8rpg. They are 3-4 SU and ATS so his presence has not immediately turned around the Pelicans but you can see how they can be a lot better. He is questionable for this one so be careful. It is unlikely New Orleans is going to force the action with their most important future piece. The Bulls have not played since Sunday when they got hammered pretty good by the Raptors. That is a solid mini-break but not enough time to heal up the likes of Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter Jr or Otto Porter… AKA their starting frontline. Chicago was limited enough as it was when they were healthy. Now they are just hoping Zach LaVine can get hot enough to make the outcome look decent. Take New Orleans on the road. Even if Zion sits.

Over Under Pick

Zion definitely makes the Pelicans more explosive. Scoring has not been the problem for the Pels though, it’s defense – they are 28th. Normally that would scream over but when I play this one out I just don’t see where the points come from for the Bulls. Since that is the case I have to go under.
