Against The Spread Pick

This is a series that the Aggies have owned over the last few years and they are looking for their eighth-straight win against the Antelopes here. The Aggies have won by an average of 12ppg in those wins. The Aggies are hot on the road as of late and have scored 72.7 ppg while allowing just 61 ppg. Grand Canyon needs to score points if it wants to win here as the Antelopes defense is hit or miss. They are 0-8 when scoring less than 62 points in a game on the season. Neither of these teams is particularly good ATS. The Aggies sit at 10-16 ATS on the season and they are 4-7 ATS on the road. They are 4-6 ATS in their last 10 games and 2-3 ATS in that same span. The Antelopes are even worst ATS on the season as they are 9-17 and 5-7 at home. They are, however, better than that mark as of late as they are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 and 2-2 at home. I like the Aggies chances to beat the spread here though as they are just a better shooting team who have been hot on the road.

Over Under Pick

One aspect of the game that will give the over some help here is the Aggies ability to rebound the basketball offensively. They are 28th in the nation in offensive rebounds as they claw back 34% of their missed shots. Grand Canyon will be of no help in this regard as they are 313th in the country in offensive rebounds at just 23.3%. The battle of the boards will go to the Aggies at both ends of the court here thanks to their size and aggressive nature when chasing down missed shots. The Aggies have been pretty neutral in the over/under game this season and they are 13-13 in that category. They trend to the under away from home with a 4-7 record and they are 5-5 O/U in their last 10 and 2-3 away from home in that span. The Antelopes have been a great team to sit the over with as they are 17-9 on the season and 7-5 at home. They are also trending heavily to the over of late where they are 8-2 and 3-1 at home. The over has to be the play here.
