Against The Spread Pick
The Lobos travel to Boise State. New Mexico has heavily relied on their offense. The Lobos defense is allowing an average 82.7 points in their last three outings. This is something that a good Boise State team should handle easily. I don’t see New Mexico being able to keep pace in this one especially on the road. Revenge will also be a factor considering the Lobos squeaked by 80-78 in the first meeting earlier in the season to pull an upset. I’m looking at Alston and Jessup to have big games. Lay the points and take the Broncos.
Over Under Pick
The Broncos should be able to shoot the Lobos out of the gym in this one. It isn’t a crazy to think they’ll find similar success from long distance on Sunday as they did in the first matchup where they knocked down fourteen threes. This is a game that won’t take long to get ugly. With the combination of the Lobos terrible and unimproved defense and Boise’s ability to knock down shots anywhere on the floor I like the over bet here.
