Money Line Pick
Nashville keeps the momentum rolling as they continue their Canadien road trip with a stop at Scotiabank Arena for a big-time clash with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Predators have won three-in-a-row and they are trying their hardest to make the cut for the playoffs. Nashville has also won six of its last nine games overall. On the flip side, Toronto has lost three of its last four games. The Predators have struggled against the Maple Leafs in head-to-head meetings overall, but Nashville has won in four of their last six visits to Scotiabank Arena. Toronto has been hard-to-beat at home, but passing on the surging Predators at this point is the wrong idea. Take the Nashville money line.
Over Under Pick
The Predators have picked up the pace of play and it has been beneficial as their goal average has climbed well above three goals per game. Toronto has also made goal scoring a must all-season, but not so much in their last three games. In their last three games combined the Maple Leafs have scored three goals total. That doesn’t bode well for the chances at reaching a 6.5-goal total, let alone an over that number. An under 6.5-goal total is the right move here with confidence.
