Puck Line Pick
Montreal heads to Boston for a key clash in the Atlantic Divison, as the Canadiens look for their 28th win of the season. The Bruins six-game winning streak was snapped by a very ugly performance in Detroit, as they allowed the Red Wings to take them down. Montreal has lost seven of the last 10 head-to-head meetings, but the first three meetings this season have been three very different stories. Boston was able to get a comfortable two-goal the last time they met at TD Garden. Montreal hasn’t had very good luck in Boston, and that is why taking the Bruins puck line with high confidence is the right play.
Over Under Pick
Two of the first three meetings this season have resulted in nine-goal totals. That includes an 8-1 blowout by Boston. Even with a pair of really high scoring games, the most recent meeting at TD Garden came in really low as the Bruins got a 3-1 win. Both teams have enjoyed under totals quite a bit in recent games. Both teams are quite capable of scoring at a high rate and with a low 5.5 goal total, the over is worth the value.
