Punting this early in the summer can be very tough — prices are tempting, but with all these unknowns without a form novel to fall down, there are tons of nasty surprises lurking to scupper your own football acca.
I have gone to get a Russo-Swedish treble; the Russian Premier League is still in its infancy, though the Swedish top-tier is well underway.
Beginning in Russia, I’ve Rostov beating Krylya Sovetov.
Rostov are unbeaten in their opening four (winning twice)–scoring at least two goals in each game–and I’m confident they will conquer a Krylya side who have lost three of the opening four, despite just playing the one away game.
My first Swedish selection is Gothenburg ousting Falkenbergs.
The side are compelling for a European place, and just 1 defeat in their final 16 suggests they are well in their way; 2 home wins over the spin also sees them head to Monday’s battle in great form.
Falkenbergs, on the other hand, have a horrific off record, earning just two points from their eight to the street (conceding 10 in their past two).
I expect a more comfortable home win.
Finally I’ve a biggie, Orebro to conquer Kalmar from house, priced at a gigantic 13/5.
Kalmar, that are in massive relegation danger, have lost five of their past six games (the one exception being a 2-2 draw at home in which the opponents were down to 10 men for half an hour), and if no way be favourites because of this.
Orebro are a strong mid-table side having a strong away album — winning four of the last six on the street (both defeats at that time coming against top-five groups ). This is a superb pick.
