Against the Spread Pick
The Miami Heat have been one of the most consistent teams in basketball this season. They have not lost more than two games in a row and they have lost two straight only once. Miami is coming off consecutive wins over Orlando and Philadelphia heading into Wednesday’s date with the Los Angeles Clippers. Tyler Herro (foot) and Meyers Leonard (ankle) are out, but luckily for the Heat they are extremely deep. The Clippers have also won two straight, but their 108-105 defeat of San Antonio on Monday was hardly spectacular. Kawhi Leonard has shot worse than 50 percent from the floor in four of the past five outings. The Heat are 41-19-1 ATS in their last 61 on the road against opponents with winning percentages over .600 and 39-19 in their last 58 on Wednesdays. Los Angeles is 4-11 ATS in its last 15 following a win. Roll with MIAMI.
Over Under Pick
Miami poured in 137 points at Philadelphia’s expense on Monday, 38 of them thanks to Jimmy Butler. L.A. also features an extremely potent offense and Montrezl Harrell has scored at least 14 points in each of the past six games. The over is 19-8 in the Heat’s last 27 overall, 8-3 in their last 11 on the road, and 8-2 in their last 10 against opponents with winning percentages over .600. It is also 7-3-1 in the Clippers’ last 11 at home. Look for this one to go OVER the total.
