Against the Spread Pick
The Alabama Crimson Tide have lost four of their last five games heading into Sunday. They have not won in regulation since Jan. 25, as their lone victory during this stretch came in overtime against Georgia. Alabama has given up at least 82 points in four of its past five outings. John Petty Jr. (15.5 ppg) has been held to single-digits three times during this five-game stretch. The LSU Tigers bounced back from two recent road losses by beating Missouri on Tuesday. Despite those two setbacks, it’s not like this cannot win on the road. The Tigers had previously won their four straight away from home. They are shooting an impressive 47.9 percent from the floor, often dominating opponents in the paint. Go with LSU, but take the 2.5 points just to be safe.
Over Under Pick
Petty has been limited to no more than one three-pointer in four of the past five games. Although LSU can put up a bunch of points, it does not shoot the ball particularly well from the perimeter (30.9 percent in three-point territory). Emmitt Williams (13.9 ppg) has scored just 11 points in each of the past two contests and went 3-for-11 from the field against Missouri. This is a huge number, which makes the UNDER a decent play.
