Against the Spread Pick
The last time Louisville faced Georgia Tech back in January, it took some late-game heroics to pull off a way-too-close four-point victory. That seemed to be a wake-up call for the Cardinals, as they haven’t won by less than seven points in any of their subsequent five victories. That stretch (which is part of an active 10-game winning streak) has vaulted Louisville into the #5 spot in the NCAA, and they’re a dominating 12-1 in conference play. Take in their 6-1 away record, and it’s pretty clear Louisville will pull off the victory on Wednesday.
Over Under Pick
The question is: by how much? Louisville is 4-3 against the spread on the road, and they’re going against a Georgia Tech team that’s 6-5 against the spread at home (vs. a 6-6 overall home record). Further, the Yellow Jackets are playing a little better as of late, as they’ve won three of their last five. Still, Georgia Tech has had an inconsistent season, and it’s just as common to see them lose narrowly to Louisville as it is to see them lose by almost 20 to Virginia Tech.
