Against the Spread Pick
The Florida State Seminoles have won three games in a row and they have not lost at home this entire season (14-0). Patrick Williams (9.3 points per game) has scored at least 12 points in five of the past six contests. In the previous matchup with the Louisville Cardinals, the Seminoles cruised to a 78-65 road win on Jan. 4. All of that bodes well for Florida State–and certainly not for Louisville. The Cardinals have won two straight, but both of those victories came at home (over Syracuse and North Carolina) and they have dropped their two most recent road outings (at Georgia Tech and Clemson). Nobody other than Jordan Nwora is averaging in double-figures. The Seminoles are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall, 4-1 ATS in their last five against opponents with winning records, and 4-0 ATS in their last four following a win. FLORIDA STATE should be able to take care of business.
Over Under Pick
The good news for Louisville is that Nwora is contributing 18.2 ppg. He is shooting 44.6 percent from the floor, 41.6 percent from deep, and 81.0 percent from the free-throw line. FSU has reached the 80-point mark in two of its past three games. The over is 4-1 in the Cardinals’ last five on the road against opponents with winning home records and 4-0 in their last four as underdogs. It is also 7-3 in the Seminoles’ last 10 overall, 4-1 in their last five at home, and 7-2 in their last nine as favorites. Look for this one to go OVER the total.
