Money Line Pick
Arguably the NHL’s best of its bottom feeders take to the ice at the Prudential Center, as the Kings face the Devils. Los Angeles enters with just one win in their last nine games. New Jersey hasn’t been any better, but are coming off an impressive 5-0 win at Philadelphia. Which was their four-win in their last 10 games, and third over a playoff level team. The Kings have been near disastrous on the road losing six of their last seven games away from Staples Center. New Jersey has emerged as the victory in two of the last three head-to-head meetings against Los Angeles. The Kings came out with a monster win the last time these teams faced off at the Prudential Center. Yet what a difference a year makes, which is why leaning the Devils at home is the right call here.
Over Under Pick
It has been hit or misses for both teams in this clash. For Los Angeles, they find themselves as the 30th best team in the NHL in goal scoring. New Jersey comes in at 23rd in the league, but they have found themselves finding the back of the net at a far better rate. It’s more likely that the Devils will find the net more than the Kings here. Los Angeles has struggled to score on the road. They have scored two goals or less in three of their last four games against a team from the Metropolitan. It’s a bit of a reach but taking the under six is the right move.
