Connections of Logician have confirmed the unbeaten colt a Planned runner at the William Hill St Leger at Doncaster on Saturday.

In winning his first 3 starts, the son of Frankel created his debut in May, but created a major belief – with a similarly display being sandwiched by a pair of solid wins at Newbury in Newmarket.
Even the John Gosden-trained three-year-old graduated into the mind of ante-post lists to the planet’s oldest Classic with a powerful success for its Great Voltigeur at York last month and then leapt to Group Two course.
Trainer John Gosden stopped short of committing his charge to the Town Moor showpiece in the immediate wake, stating:”We’ll see how he is in the next 10 days until we make any choice as to where he goes next.”
However, morning, speaking on Wednesday , owner-breeder Khalid Abdullah’s racing manager the green light was given by Teddy Grimthorpe.
Grimthorpe told the PA news agency:”Logician is an intended runner at the St Leger.
“We are constantly concerned of confirming these things right after a rush in the event we didn’t get the ideal answer.
“We needed to ensure Prince Khalid is joyful and the horse will be happy and that is the case.
“The horse is still in great shape.”
