Against The Spread Pick
It has been a season to forget for the Kansas State Wildcats, and they get a tough draw in the opening round of the Big 12 Tournament as they face TCU at the Sprint Center. The Wildcats ended a really long drought with their win against Iowa State in their regular-season finale. The Horned Frogs have lost three of their last four games, but own a nice three-point win against Baylor back on the last day of February. The Wildcats are 4-2 ATS in their last six games, while the Horned Frogs are just 4-9 ATS in their last 13. Yet TCU not only won both head-to-head meetings this season, but they also covered three or fewer point spreads in both games. The most recent of which was an 11-point win for the Frogs. Kansas State is 0-4 ATS in its neutral site games so far. Taking TCU to cover the spread is a must.
Over Under Pick
Being ineffective has been a common theme for both the Wildcats and Horned Frogs in 2019-2020. Both teams average fewer than 66 points per game. Their first meeting this season wasn’t about offense as TCU got an unconvincing 59-57 victory. They didn’t even reach 120-total points. That was followed up by a 68-57 win for the Horned Frogs. They reached 120 that night, but it was again not enough to even think about reaching more than 127. It isn’t likely that either team will outperform the other by much. Taking an over 127-point total is out of the question.
