Against the Spread Pick
Tyrese Haliburton is not the best player in the college game but it is a shame the future lottery pick is out for the season. Iowa State won without him at home against Texas but against a team like Kansas, on the road, I am not giving them much of a chance. Even with him at home last month they lost by 26 points. Rasir Bolton is a nice player but he is not going to be enough to keep them in the game in this one. Kansas is on a roll but there is a chance they are looking ahead to their next game at Baylor. Even if that is true I am pretty confident in their ability to get the job done here, especially with Haliburton unavailable. Devon Dotson and Udoka Azubuike are two of the best players in the league and set Kansas apart both offensively and defensively. Take the Jayhawks at home.
Over Under Pick
The Jayhawks have been playing great defense all season but they let it slide a little in a recent win over Oklahoma. They scored 87 and yielded 70, 10 more ppg than their season average. I am looking for them to put the clamps on the Cyclones here so getting an over is going to be difficult. I would be surprised if ISU even gets to 60. Take the under.
