Against The Spread Pick
The Iowa Hawkeyes hit the road again for their second- road game in the state of Indiana in the last two weeks. The Hoosiers, stay in the confines of Assembly Hall, but their four-game losing streak has really opened them to be a questionable team. What makes it worse for Indiana, is their recent home loss to rival Purdue. Iowa is 7-2 in their last nine games, while Indiana is just 1-4 in their last five. The Hawkeyes had a flat performance in their last trip to the Hoosier State by getting blown out by Purdue. Iowa will need all hands on deck if they want to avoid a third loss in their last five games. Assembly Hall isn’t an easy place to get a win, so taking the Hoosiers to cover 2.5 points is the right move.
Over Under Pick
Iowa has been one of the most effective offensive teams in the Big Ten this season and comes in averaging nearly 80 points per game. The Hoosiers have only scored more than 70 points just once in their last five games. Eight of the last 10 head-to-head meetings have resulted in over totals. Both teams are capable of scoring 70 points a game, which makes taking an over 148-point total the right play.
