Against the Spread Pick
The Georgia Bulldogs have generally been keeping games close, often blowing big leads if not winning. One exception was a 75-59 home loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks on Feb. 12, but the Bulldogs should feel good about their chances of turning things around based on how they are playing two weeks later. Georgia is coming off consecutive victories over Auburn and Vanderbilt, its first winning streak of any kind since of four-gamer wrapped up back on Jan. 4. South Carolina has dropped two straight at the hands of Mississippi State and LSU. Justin Minaya (7.8 ppg, 6.1 rpg) remains out with a thumb injury. Georgia is 4-0 ATS in its last four as an underdog. The Gamecocks are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 at home. It is also worth noting that the road team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine head-to-head matchups and the underdog is 8-2 ATS in the last 10. Getting more than five point should be enough for the BULLDOGS.
Over Under Pick
For Georgia, projective top-five pick Anthony Edwards has gone five straight games without reaching the 20-point mark. That is a season-high for Edwards. South Carolina is turning the ball over 13.4 times per contest. The under is 5-1 in the Bulldogs’ last six against opponents with winning records. It is also 5-1 in the Gamecocks’ last six against opponents with winning records and 4-1 in their last five as favorites. Expect this one to stay UNDER the total.
