Against the Spread Pick
The Big East is going to send a whack of teams to the Tournament and these are going to be among them. Michigan started red hot but has slowed lately. They are off a road loss to Minnesota and still playing without Isaiah Livers, a key piece on offense and defense. Big man Jon Teske has emerged as the team’s leading scorer and a key defensive presence. He is a legit 7 footer and might give the Hawkeyes some trouble. Iowa will home some home cooking gives them an advantage in this one, they lost at Michigan and gave up more than 100 points last month. The Hawkeyes are one of the top-scoring team in the country at just under 80ppg. They also have one of the most consistent scorers in the country in forward Luke Garza, a double-double machine. Iowa evens things up with Big Blue. Take the Hawkeyes.
Over Under Pick
When these teams met last month they crushed the total by 50 points. That is not likely to happen again but we could get another good offensive game. Iowa likes to play at pace and neither has been a great defensive team this season. Both are solid on D but once they get a lather going the points will come. Take the over.
