Against the Spread Pick
The Kentucky Wildcats are 13-2 since a two-game losing streak in mid-December as they prepare to entertain the Florida Gators on Saturday. Kentucky has also won five in a row, most recently taking care of LSU on the road earlier this week. Ashton Hagans (thing) is questionable for this one, so his status should continued to be monitored. On the bright side, the Wildcats are plenty deep. They feature four players averaging in double-figures, led by Immanuel Quickley at 15.2 points per game. Home-court advantage could be decisive here, as the ‘Cats are 14-1 at Rupp Arena. The Gators are just 3-5 in true road games compared to 10-3 at home. Their lone February setback has come by 17 points against Ole Miss–needless to say on the road. Florida is 3-8 ATS in its last 11 on Saturdays. The Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall. Lean toward KENTUCKY.
Over Under Pick
Hagans’ absence would hurt UK, but this squad has tons of firepower with or without him. The Wildcats have scored at least 77 points in four of their past five outings. Florida’s Keyontae Johnson (13.7 ppg) leads four different players in double-figures. The over is 15-6 in the Gators’ last 21 overall, 7-2 in their last nine on the road, and 10-4 in their last 14 following a win. It is also 11-5 in the Wildcats’ last 16 overall and 9-1 in their last 10 against opponents with winning percentages over .600. Go with the OVER.
