Against The Spread Pick

FC Cincinnati will look to have a more successful second season after ending their inaugural season as the worst team in the MLS. It will be a tough task as they are playing one of the better teams in the league historically and they will be on the road. The Red Bulls did lose guys like Luis Robles, Bradley Wright-Phillips, Kemar Lawrence and Michael Amir Murillo, so they are now a very young team that are looking to make a name for themselves. I still do not want to trust the FC Cincinnati team as they were just so bad last year. That being said, I do not expect New York to win by a ton, so I will back FC Cincinnati against the spread.

Over Under Pick

The total is more intriguing for this game. The Cincinnati defense was so awful last season, but New York no longer has as many goal scoring threats as they have had in the past few years. Because of that, I think Cincinnati could settle and withstand what New York throws at them. This is only a lean, but I would look to back the under and look for a very boring game with not much goal scoring.
